Here’s How Your Temecula Hot Air Balloon Adventure Unfolds
Meeting Point and Check-In
The experience begins at Bolero Winery, conveniently located just off Rancho California Road in the heart of wine country. Meeting times vary by season, generally between 5:30 am in summer and 6:30 am in winter. You’ll receive your exact check-in time when your reservation is confirmed. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your pilot, checked in, and transported to the launch site in one of our comfortable chase vehicles. Restrooms and ample parking are available at the winery.
Launch and Flight
At the launch site, you’ll watch your seven-story balloon come to life as it’s inflated with cool morning air. Guests are welcome to take part in the setup or simply relax and enjoy the process. Once airborne, your pilot ensures a smooth, safe, and memorable flight, communicating throughout with the trained ground crew who follow the balloon until landing.
Soaring Over Temecula’s Wine Country
Your private Temecula hot air balloon ride begins at sunrise, with just you, your partner, and your pilot in the basket. Guided by the morning breeze, every flight follows its own path – no two experiences are ever the same. From above, you’ll see vineyards, citrus groves, lakes, wineries, estate homes, and even local wildlife. Throughout the journey, your FAA-certified pilot ensures a safe and comfortable flight, pointing out landmarks such as Lake Skinner, Old Town Temecula, and the surrounding mountains.
Landing and Celebration
After a gentle landing, our crew will return you to Bolero Winery for a private post-flight celebration. Together, you’ll toast your adventure with a glass of our private-label La Scappatella champagne, a mimosa, or fresh orange juice in the winery’s VIP area. If you’re celebrating an anniversary, engagement, or another special moment, let us know – we’re glad to make it even more memorable. For a sweet touch, you can also add individually packaged bundtlets from Nothing Bundt Cakes for a small additional fee upon booking.
